It’s back! Bernalillo County’s popular “Movies in the Park” summer series kicks off April 30th and runs through July 30th. Gather up your lawn chairs and blankets; and enjoy a free movie in the outdoors. It’s today’s version of a drive-in! Movies begin at dusk. Celebrate Nob Hill’s 100 birthday and your love for pets at the Nob Hill is 100 Unleashed Pet Parade and Fair on Saturday, April 30! Animal Humane will march in the Parade up Central Ave. with their adoptable dogs and there will be local vendors at the Fair.
Enjoy food trucks, live entertainment, pet adoptions, contests and prizes. Create a costume for you and your pet to celebrate! Prizes are offered for best owner/pet match, most unique pet, best trick, best representation of Nob Hill and more.
Registration starts at 9 am, the Parade begins at 10 am and the Fair will run from 9am to 2pm. Proceeds benefit Animal Humane New Mexico, Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico and Paws and Stripes.
All pets must be kept on a leash at all times and no more than two pets per human.
